Peadar Kirby

 Peadar Kirby is Professor of International Politics and Public Policy. Until September 2007 he was co-director of the Centre for International Studies and associate professor in the School of Law and Government, both at Dublin City University. A former journalist with The Irish Times, he is a graduate in History and Politics from UCD and did his PhD in the Department of International Relations at the London School of Economics under the supervision of Professor Fred Halliday. He has published extensively on globalisation and development, both in theoretical terms and in relation to Ireland and to Latin America.
