US Students Celebrate Election Results
Wednesday, 7th November 2012 Tags: US Election 2012, International Students, University of Limerick, Barack Obama,American students studying at the University of Limerick gathered this morning for a US style breakfast to watch the election results and see Barack Obama elected for a second term.
Speaking at the event, student, Sarah Carnes from Washington said “I think it will be interesting to see what happens next and I hope that the opposition rallies around and supports the President.”
The students are studying in Limerick as part of the University’s Study Abroad programme, which offers students the opportunity to study in Ireland for an academic semester or year.
