A wide range of engaging science events are taking place in the University of Limerick this week to celebrate National Science Week.  The Faculty of Science and Engineering have scheduled five days of talks, exhibitions, demonstrations and shows aimed at primary and secondary school students.  The overall theme of UL Science week is to illustrate to young people the huge role science and engineering has to play in driving and shaping their future.

Interactive science shows, presentations on the human body, science magic shows and an interactive technology exhibition all form part of UL Science Week.
National Science Week is organised in association with Discover Science and Engineering, Forfas, and aims to raise awareness of science, engineering and technology in all of our everyday lives.
