Bio
Donal Donovan holds a B.A. from Trinity College Dublin and a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. He is a former IMF staff member (1977 - 2005) before retiring as Deputy Director. Donal is currently Adjunct Professor at the University of Limerick and a Visiting Lecturer at Trinity College Dublin. He was a member of the investigation team that produced the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland's report to the Minister for Finance on the Irish banking crisis in May 2010. Donal has also published a number of opinion pieces on the IMF/EU bailout in the Irish Times in recent months (see here, here, here, here and here).
