Student’s Union Presidents Recognised by Dr Edward Walsh, UL’s Founding President
Monday, 12th November 2012 Tags: UL40, Dr Edward Walsh, ULSU, UL Students Union,As the University of Limerick celebrates the 40th anniversary of the registration of its first students in 1972 Founding President, Dr Ed Walsh, presented the Student's Union Presidents from 1972 and 2012 with commemorative silver spoons which he made for them himself.Adam Moursy, the current UL Students Union (ULSU) President and John Reddington former Students Union President of the then National Institute of Higher Education were presented their commemorative silver spoons, which bear the UL Crest, by Dr Walsh at Plassey House, UL.
