The Annual Plassey 10k renamed the Jacinta O'Brien Plassey 10k will take place on Sunday 3rd April  at 1.00pm at the University of Limerick . Each year the event campaign is to raise funds for deserving charity and it is guaranteed a huge turnout with its popularity increasing significantly over the last few years.   Charities are the big winners from the Jacinta O'Brien Plassey 10K.  This annual event is organised by Second Year Sports Science Students in conjunction with UL Sports Department. We are delighted to say that this young enthusiastic and vibrant group of students have left 'no stone unturned' to ensure another successful fun day for all the family and friends - from the competitive athlete to those who just want to come out, take on the challenge and enjoy the experience.  So why not gather a few friends and family - get the running shoes on and join in the fun!

Remember the emphasis is on fun and fitness and that someone will benefit from your efforts. This year we are delighted to offer a top class timing chip system for those of you who wish to avail of this option.

So to all competitors and enthusiast - adults and kids of all ages, come from far and near,  some attempting their first race to those looking for a podium finish.  This is the place to be!!
