Estonian Ambassador visits UL

Estonian Ambassador to Ireland, H.E. Mait Martinson,  was recently welcomed to the University of Limerick by UL Vice President, Professor Paul McCutcheon. During his visit, Ambassador Martinson met with Josephine Page, Manager, International Education Division, UL.

Together with the Vice President Paul McCutcheon and Josephine Page, Ambassador Martinson discussed International Education and potential links between UL and Estonia, before embarking on a tour of the UL campus.

The Ambassador was given a tour of the state-of-the-art Living Bridge, which, spans 350 metres making it the  longest pedestrian bridge in Ireland. The Living Bridge links both sides of UL's campus across the River Shannon. Ambassador Martinson also visited the Irish World Academy, which accommodates our own Irish talent, as well as hosting more than 200 musicians and dancers from 25 countries throughout the world.
