UL students and staff are invited to the above lecture by Derek Scally, organised by the Centre for Irish-German Studies and the Journalism section, School of Languages, Literature, Culture and Communication as part of the lecture series 'Current Issues in Irish Journalism'. The lecture is sponsored by the Faculty Teaching Board, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science.
Derek Scally, Berlin correspondent of the Irish Times. A graduate of the Dublin City University journalism programme Derek Scally has worked for the Irish Times from Berlin for the last decade, reporting on current affairs in Germany and Poland.
