The University of Limerick Debating Union is delighted to announce that Max Keiser, host of the Keiser Report on RT, will be receiving a Honorary Life Membership of the society. Honorary Life Memberships are awarded to those people who we think have contributed to discourse and debate. We are giving a HLM to Max Keiser for his great work in financial journalism over the last number of years. He is well-known name worldwide due to his work with CNN,Russia Today and AL Jazeera.

Mr. Keiser is an outspoken critic of “financial terrorists” and someone who has commented frequently on the current Irish economic crisis.

Following from the address of Dr. Garrett Fitzgerald last year on the problems facing Ireland, we believe that Mr. Keiser will provide a unique and thought provoking analysis of the current global financial situation.

The event will be held in the University of Limerick and is free and open to everyone. We would be delighted if members and non-members alike came to make this event a memorable one.
