The 11th IEEE International Conference on Cybernetic Intelligent Systems CIS2012 will be hosted by the University of Limerick, Ireland and will take place on August 23rd and 24th, 2012. This conference is organized by the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland chapter of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society.
CIS2012 will bring together international experts and researchers from many areas of experimental, theoretical and application-oriented aspects of cybernetic intelligent systems. They will present papers and posters within the following areas: Soft Computing including Fuzzy Systems, Neural Networks, Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Systems, Hybrid Systems, Knowledge and Agent Based Systems, Information Retrieval Systems, Intelligent Systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems, Manufacturing and Robotic Systems, Machine Vision, Biological Systems, Systems Safety and Security and Human-Computer Interaction
Keynote Speakers:
Professor Bernard Widrow Stanford University, USA
Professor Liam Maguire University of Ulster, Northern Ireland
The opening session of the conference will include a welcome address by Professor Don Barry, President of UL and an invited keynote speech by Professor Bernard Widrow.
Time: 10 AM Venue: Jean Monet Theatre
This session is open to all. Tea/biscuits will be provided.
