Faculty of Science & Engineering Summer Camp is an exciting two day programme of highly interactive science and engineering activities.
The theme for this year will be Energy. The Camp is designed for students currently studying their Junior Certificate, Transition Year or Fifth Year.
The Science & Engineering Summer Camp ‘experience’ offers participants the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art laboratories and engage in a fully interactive, action-packed programme that will give them invaluable insights into exciting areas and explore future career opportunities.
Participants will explore elements of science and engineering such as chemistry, physics, biology, materials, CAD and electronics.
The Science & Engineering Summer Camp is designed to complement students learning stages, with practical-based experiments and activities that are enhanced to enable students to have a “practical’ approach to investigating the different aspects of science, technology and engineering.
The Science & Engineering Summer Camp is non-residential and of two days duration:
CAMP 1 – Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th June 2011
CAMP 2 – Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th June 2011
Camp will run from 9.00am to 5.00pm on each day.
Course Fee: €80 - All participants will have lunch provided for them on campus.
Participants whose parents or guardians are employed by the University of Limerick are entitled to a 20% discount on fee. Limited places are available on each camp so early booking is advisable.
