Frankie Byrne was queen of the airwaves for over twenty years, solving everyone’s problems on her iconic Radio Eireann programme. Frankie’s gravelly tones, her no-nonsense practical advice and the Frank Sinatra tunes she played ensured that the show became an institution between 1963 and 1985. Dear Frankie is by turns hilarious and poignant. It received a huge response from the audience last year. The wonderful Nuala Hayes returns as Frankie Byrne.
