Summary of Seminar

In recent times, research in organisational psychology is placing an increased emphasis on the study of short-term processes and the everyday experiences of employees. These research topics include: flow experiences, daily recovery from work experiences, fluctuations in work behaviour and performance, fluctuations in work motivation, and work-home interactions in well-being. In order to examine such everyday experiences, researchers need to capture these short-term processes and daily fluctuations. Diaries provide the researcher with a tool to examine these effects. This seminar will provide an introduction to this method of data collection, as well as an introduction to the statistical analysis of this type of data.
