UL openly welcomes mature students into its degree programmes and encourages your full participation in university life. [Back to top]
As a mature applicant, you can apply to any degree programme offered by UL. Generally speaking, you don't need prior qualifications (e.g your Leaving Certificate) or specific experience to apply. However some programmes in UL may have specific requirements e.g. Engineering programmes will need you to have higher level Leaving Cert maths. To view UL's full list of degree programmes, including specific entry requirements for mature students, see the Undergraduate Prospectus 2013-14.
