Put your reading lists online for the new academic year

Author: Michelle Breen
When: Tuesday, June 20, 2017 - 21:00

The Library is in the process of introducing Reading Lists Online to

1. Allow students to connect directly to full-text reading list items, including books, articles, videos, podcasts and webpages;

2. Make the creation and maintenance of reading lists easier for instructors;

3. Bridge the gap between instructors, students, and the library by connecting reading lists to resources, and instructors to librarians.

The Library is currently entering Prime Texts and Other Relevant Texts for each module from the Book of Modules but would be more than happy to upload for you any reading lists that you wish to share with your students. You can send us lists in any format - handwritten, Word, Excel, pdf, or even an EndNote library – and we will do the work for you. Be sure to tell us with which module the list is to be associated.

Note that it will be possible to make purchase and digitisation requests directly through the reading list software, and that a portion of the bookfund has been allocated to fill gaps identified in our collections through this project.

We would love to hear from you, with lists, comments or questions. Please get in touch via email, directly to the Head of Information Services in the library, Aoife Geraghty
