Welcome to your weekly dose of 100 per cent feel-good content!
On this weeks episode of Some Good News, Mairéad Cleary tells us all about the talented musicians in UL who are using their skills to entertain the masses. Aditya Murkherji played classical tunes to the cocooning residents at the Park Village in Castletroy, while fellow violinist Emma Downes has been providing nightly performances on her Facebook page in a series she’s titled #Quarentunes.
Fitness fundraisers have been all the rage since lockdown began but these 3 Westport men have decided to take it to the next level. UL students Aaron and Con Doherty and their little brother Ethan have completed a sponsored Ironman in their back garden with all money raised going to Pieta House.
We hear all about the research carried out by our friends in Trinity College Dublin that links Vitamin D to preventing the coronavirus and we tell you all about the Lean on Me campaign that helps Limerick Businesses survive during these unprecedented times.
And finally, we feature a heartwarming story about a past NCEF student who reconnected with a former lecture to share her own good news of securing a place on a masters programme in UL.
