Undergraduate Entry Requirements
- High grades in the Attestat o srednem obrazovami (certificate of secondary education, grade 11) or a foundation year. An average grade of 4.75/5 in the last three years. Final examinations should include English, one other language and mathematics.
- Particular programmes may require specific subjects.
Taught Postgraduate Entry Requirements
- High grades in a four-year Specialist Diploma or Magister (completed after 1991) in a relevant discipline at a competitive university.
- Particular programmes may require an interview and/or work experience.

Bolashak Scolarship
Programmes at the University of Limerick are approved for Bolashak Scholarship holders. To speed up the approval process, applicants intending to apply for the Bolashak Scholarship for any priority majors listed by the Bolashak administration may apply first to UL and then present their letter of offer to the Bolashak for scholarship approval. Completed applications with sufficient supporting materials received by UL will normally be processed within 5 to 10 working days.
