The University of Limerick provides information on health insurance schemes for the following Health Insurance Providers:
Aviva
The University has a Hibernian Aviva Group Health Insurance Scheme in place for faculty and staff who wish to join.
The University has an Aviva Group Health Insurance Scheme in place for faculty and staff who wish to join. They offer an additional 10% discount on their three most popular corporate plans. Premiums must be paid through payroll deduction as this discount is not available to individuals outside of the salary deduction group scheme.
If you wish to change from your current insurer to Aviva Health before your policy renewal date please check with your current insurer regarding any penalties that may apply. Existing Aviva Health customers will have the option of migrating to the discounted corporate plans.

Voluntary Health Insurance - VHI
The University has a VHI Group Health Insurance Scheme in place for faculty and staff, which offers a 10% discount on the full price of a VHI health insurance policies.
