Partnership has become an accepted modus operandi in the spheres of politics, economics and local development as well as in the workplace and has recently become the object of study in a number of institutes throughout Europe and the developing world. These programmes are aimed at practitioners currently working in partnership settings and address the demand for accredited life-long learning which enhances people's work and personal skills as well as fostering academic achievement.
