UL Students take Music into Medicine

Students from the MA in Music Therapy taught a lecture/workshop for the 1st year medical students at NUI Galway on February 21st as part of Arts and Action, an initiative of the medical school there. Professor Jane Edwards, Director of the MA in Music Therapy gave a presentation on music therapy including the musicality of infancy, and then the music therapy students led an active music making session that included singing, body percussion, and chants.
