10th Anniversary of Dance Forum

Students of the MA Ethnochoreology programme and Dr Catherine Foley, Director, MA Ethnochoreology programme at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance attended Queens University Belfast, from 22nd - 23rd February to particulate at Dance Research Forum Ireland’s 5th Student Symposium.  The event celebrated the tenth anniversary of Dance Research Forum Ireland of which Dr Catherine Foley was its founding Chair. The event included academic-based and practice-based papers.  Dr Catherine Foley, Breandan de Gallai, student on the PhD Arts Practice Research programme, and Sheila Creevey, Chair of Dance Research Forum Ireland, presented on the Dance Industry Forum.  Dr Catherine Foley also taught a dance workshop.
