Funding Opportunities for Students from South East Asia offered by LOTUS+
Lotus+ is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project (with financial support granted by the European Commission) that grants scholarships to students and researchers from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, North Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, to undertake a full degree or an exchange in universities in Europe. Scholarships include PhD degrees (36 months) and PhD exchanges (6-10 months), as well as Master degrees (1-2 years) and Master exchanges (1-2 semesters). The scholarships cover monthly stipend, travel, insurance, costs related to residence permits but NOT tuition fees. More Information is available from the LOTUS+ website at http://lotusplus.eu/
North/South Postgraduate Scholarships.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 North/South Postgraduate Scholarships. Universities Ireland will be offering four scholarships to students who have been accepted to undertake a recognised Master’s Degree or are entering the first year of a PhD programme at a university in the island of Ireland that is not in the same jurisdiction as the university where they have previously studied.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Walsh Research Potgraduate Fellowships. Research areas include food, animal, grassland production, crops, environment and land use, rural economics and development.
