Event date Friday, 7 April 2017 - 12:00pm to 6:00pm

The UL GEMS Inaugural Paediatrics Study Day will take place at 12MD on Friday, April 7th 2017 in the newly opened CERC building at UHL in Limerick. The theme is 'Paediatric Infectious Diseases'. 

There will be interactive, problem based sessions, and clinicians attending are encouraged to bring clinical cases to these sessions. There will also be some formal lectures.

The Inaugural Paediatric Study Day will be opened by Dr Michael Mahony, Associate Clinical Director, Women and Children's Health Directorate and Prof Clodagh O'Gorman Foundation Chair in Paediatrics, GEMS. 

Prof Karina Butler, Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Our Lady's Hospital Crumlin will deliver a lecture titled 'An update on Paediatric Infectious Diseases'.

Dr Ronan Leahy, Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Our Lady's Hospital Crumlin will deliver a lecture titled 'Approach to immune deficiencies for Paediatricians'.
