Profile:

Scheduling teaching activities, updating of records and collection of teaching resources for students of Paediatrics.

First line support to students based in UL Hospitals Group affiliated Paeds Sites.

First line support to Consultant Supervisors/Adjuncts based in UL Hospitals Group and affiliated sites regarding Paeds student placements

Responsibility for the timely return of formative and summative Paediatrics ITA forms including inputting scores and liaising with Assessment Team.

Detailed knowledge of and support to the coordination of Year 3 & 4 Paediatric assessment

Administrative support to Paediatric faculty based in UL Hospitals including diary management, travel arrangements and any other school commitments and activities.

Orientation of Paediatric students at UL Hospitals Group and affiliated sites and input to overall clinical Orientation project

Paediatrics placement co-ordination with Executive Administrator

Support for assigned once-off events and training annually (i.e. annual lectures/Meetings and Study Days/ etc.)

Paediatric Department Research support as required

Committee support:

Set up for new clinical tutors of Paeds on UL systems and provide basic induction to UL systems and programme.

Provide cover and handover under the  ‘buddy’ system and as such be familiar with the respective ‘buddy’ workload

Support EA/SEA as required

Participate in Schools Developmental projects and Quality Management Process as required

Liaise with Suppliers; raise Purchase requisitions on Agresso system for all events/training/discipline specific workload including processing of ad hoc Teaching payments.

CAL Access control system management

Coordination from Start to Finish and development and review of Effective Clinical Teaching

Coordination from Start to Finish and development and review Haemovigilance workshops for Year 4 students

Coordination from Start to Finish and development and review  of ACLS
