2. 10 month senior post doc with expertise in data analysis, physical activity and depression/anxiety. See information below: 10-month Post-Doctoral Researcher – maximum salary (point 9): ~€53,440 per annum

   Duration: September 2024
   Role Description: The PDR will focus on facilitating completion of the remaining objectives of our Health Research Board (HRB) Secondary Data Analysis Project, including conducting remaining analyses to characterize biopsychosocial profiles predictive of meeting optimal physical activity dose for Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (identified through Objective 1) and biopsychosocial profiles predictive of positive, negative, and null associations between optimal physical activity dose and Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and facilitating dissemination objectives of the project.
   Required & Desired Expertise/Experience: We are seeking a PDR with strong statistical/analytical skills, ideally proficient with some combination of Python, MatLab, Stata, and/or R, and experience with latent modelling and/or supervised machine learning strategies (e.g., cross-validated partial least squares regression or random forests). A working knowledge of the physical activity, mental health, physical activity and mental health literature, and/or The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) is desired but not required.
   Additional Information Regarding Project Status & Role: Datasets are largely built and analyses will be facilitated by Dr. Herring, US colleague, Dr. Derek Monroe, and members of the internal TILDA team. The remaining dissemination deliverables will be facilitated by the full project team, including Dr. Herring, Prof Catherine Woods, Prof Ciaran MacDonncha, members of TILDA, HSE knowledge-user collaborators, and associated national and international networks.
