We invite you to attend the 2017 Bernal Research Day in the Analog Devices Building, University of Limerick on Thursday 23rd November followed by a buffet dinner at The Pavilion, UL.

This single day event will take place in the AD lecture room (AD2-010) and as per previous research days, this event serves to increase visibility and awareness of the breadth of current research activities and resources across the Bernal Institute.

Specific to this year’s event, we wish to focus on the impact our research activities, leading to the theme of “Advancing Materials for Impact”.

Dr Elizabethanne Boran (Edward Worth Library, Dublin) will deliver the inaugural Bolton-King lecture at UL on 25th November 2017. Her talk is entitled "Buying and selling medical books in early eighteenth-century Dublin".

It will commence at 5.15 in GEMSO-028. All welcome! Hosted by the Centre for Early Modern Studies, Limerick.
