Migrant Stories

KBS are hosting an event called ‘Migrant Stories’ from 12 noon to 2pm Thursday 22 March 2018 in the Schuman Building, SG-17.  Students and staff are invited to come along to hear stories of migration from those who have made the journey and those who have supported people on the way. The event will feature short films by Caoimhe Butterly who will then be joined in a panel discussion by Zoe Lawlor to share reflections from their time in camps in Greece, Calais and elsewhere. The event will also feature migrant stories from three current UL students, as well as a brief presentation depicting a side of Syria rarely seen in the media nowadays by Radwan Abouhajar.
Tea/coffee and sandwiches will be provided.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
