The KBS is delighted to announce that Prof. John Fahy, Department of Management & Marketing at the KBS, is the recipient of this year's Shannon Consortium Regional Award for Excellence in Higher Education Teaching.

The Consortium also acknowledge the considerable achievement of being among those short-listed for the award and the KBS is delighted that Dr. Deirdre O’ Loughlin, also of the Department of Management and Marketing at the KBS, was one of 5 short-listed candidates in the region.

The Shannon Consortium, a collaborative alliance between UL, MIC, LIT and IT Tralee, through the Shannon Consortium Regional Teaching Award process aims to showcase and champion outstanding practice in higher education teaching from across the Shannon Region.
