A group of researchers from the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, were recently invited by the Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to provide expert opinion on the Banded Hours Contract Bill 2016.

The Bill aims to address legal issues on working hours identified by the researchers in their study ‘A Study on the Prevalence of Zero Hours Contracts among Irish Employers and the Impact on Employees’, which was commissioned by the Irish Government in 2015.
