Kieran has a primary degree in Business Studies and French, majoring in Accounting and Finance. After completing a Masters in Accounting at the Smurfit Business School in University College Dublin, Kieran trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers, obtaining his chartered accountancy and taxation qualifications. He spent eight years working as a practicing tax consultant before joining the UL faculty in 2006. Kieran is an associate member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute.
