Personal Profile:
Regina (Gina) C. McNally is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy in the department of Management and Marketing at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. She completed her Ph.D. in business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Gina has received multiple awards and grants, including 2010 Outstanding Faculty and Staff Award from the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities at Michigan State University, 2008 Withrow Emerging-Scholar Award at Michigan State University, 2008 Product Development Management Association Research Forum Best Paper Award, and a 2004 Teradata Center for Customer Relationship Management at Duke University Research Grant.
Regarding research, Gina's interests are driven by her 14-year experience in industry. She focuses on understanding managerial decision making in the areas of innovation and relational exchange (i.e., inter-organizational exchange, relationship marketing, and customer relationship management). She has published multiple research articles on these subjects, including publications in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Journal of Operations Management, among others. Recently, she co-edited a special issue of the Journal of Product Innovation Management on the topic of Decisions and Decision-Making in Innovation.
Gina's teaching interests lie in the areas of strategic management and marketing strategy, as well as new product development/innovation. She teaches undergraduates and graduate students. Gina also has conducted multiple executive education sessions on the topic of innovation and marketing of new products.
