Exploring the career experiences of female managers in Ireland.
Investigating training and development in call centres in Europe.
Social and integration experiences of Polish nationals currently working in Ireland.

Personal Profile: 

Christine lectures in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Kemmy Business School where she has extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and post-experience levels and has been actively involved in curriculum review and development. She has published more than 40 scholarly papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Christine spent most of 2010 as Visiting Professor at theUniversitat Rovira i Virgili, Reus, Spain. 

In 2008 Christine received the Emerald/European Foundation for Management Development Outstanding Doctoral Research Award (in the Leadership and Organization Development category). She was the recipient of the UL Excellence in Teaching Award in 2006. She has published articles in many international journals and at both national and international conferences. Her research interests currently centre on women in middle and senior management; perceptions of older workers; and student plagiarism in third level education. Prior to joining UL she worked for a number of the world's leading organisations including Lloyd's bank, Dell Computers and Mars.Inc in both management and human resource management roles. 

Christine is a co-director of the Age in the Workplace Research Network (AWR-net) which is located within the Centre for Organisation Science and Public Policy at the Kemmy Business School, and within the Work, Knowledge and Employment research stream.
