MBA student awarded 2017 ISTAT Foundation Scholarship

MBA (aviation management) student, John Butler, has been awarded a 2017 ISTAT Foundation Scholarship.

The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation (ISTAT Foundation) was founded in 1994 to support individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism. This year, the ISTAT Foundation awarded 42 scholarships totalling $351,051 USD.

The ISTAT Foundation is actively engaged in helping young people develop careers in aviation by offering scholarships typically up to $10,000 to college-level students. The program is administered by the Scholarship Committee of the ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees in conjunction with accredited universities who recommend qualified students.

John is undertaking the MBA (aviation management stream) at KBS, UL and works
as a Surveillance & Airlift Squadron CASA CN 235 Pilot with the Defence Forces of Ireland - Irish Air Corps.
