To mark this event, The Department of Lifelong Learning and Outreach will host a TALK  ON INTERNET SAFETY FOR PARENTS specifically targeting parents of children from 3rd class up to Leaving Cert on next Saturday February 9th in KBG12 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.
Dr. Maureen Griffin, B.A., M.A., Ph.D. will deliver the lecture followed by a Q& A session.  Maureen is the founder of Internet Safety for Schools Ireland and has visited over 150 schools (primary & post primary) across Ireland speaking with students, staff, BOM members and parents regarding issues around social media, cyber-bullying and internet and mobile phone safety.
