KBS/Northern Trust Outstanding Scholar Awards for 2011

13 Apr 2012 - 14:00 to 16:00

The KBS and Northern Trust are delighted to announce that the Outstanding Scholar Awards for the 2011 academic year will take place on Friday April 13th at 2pm at the Kemmy Business School.
University of Limerick business and management students will be honoured with Outstanding Scholar Awards at the annual awards ceremony. This is the eighth year of the awards for Outstanding KBS students and graduates and the second year of the partnership with Northern Trust.
The Louise Newman Memorial Prize and the Father John Conlisk Scholarship will also be announced at the event.  The Louise Newman Memorial Prize was established in 2002 to mark the untimely passing of an outstanding business academic, Louise Newman and reflects her previous active association with the Insurance Institute of Ireland, who generously sponsored this annual prize. Louise lectured in the Risk Management and Insurance discipline, for the Kemmy Business School, from 1996 to 2001.

The award is presented to the student with the highest QCA at the end of the second year of the BBS programme - Risk Management & Insurance major option.

The Father John Conlisk Scholarship is tenable at Fairfield University, Connecticut. The scholarship covers tuition and accommodation costs for a student to undertake the Fairfield University Master's in Business/ Management programme.
