19:00 Humanitarian Projects
Global Humanitarian Organisations acquire a wealth of knowledge on how to assist people in need. Knowledge management strategies and systems are becoming vital in disaster detection, response planning and management, with increasing attention given to creating situational awareness and enabling decision makers to make the right decisions in a timely manner. This presentation will explore how these organisations leverage knowledge management strategies to respond effectively to communities’ needs.

20:00 Adopting Flexible Project Approaches

Project Managers are continuously learning from other disciplines and experiences as to how to adopt and change their approach in the forever changing environment that they operate in. This presentation will explore the challenges that are typically faced in this respect in Lean and Six Sigma environments. It will examine the various approaches that can be taken to arrive at a workable solution and will discuss the strengths of these approaches and how they may/or may not apply to project management.
