Irma Hourigan

Irma Hourigan

Irma joined Bernal as Projects Officer in 2019. She is a graduate of NUI Dublin, where she achieved an Honours Degree in Business Studies and Information Systems Management. She also holds Specialised Diploma in Medical Device Science from NUIG.

Irma has extensive project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry, where she managed variety of large scale and international projects. She has experience in establishing and building collaborations with national and international industry clients, third party companies and suppliers.

Before this role, Irma worked as a project manager in Health Research Institute in the University of Limerick, were she managed operational projects and programmes.

At Bernal, Irma is responsible for leading, monitoring and delivering specific projects to support the Institute in the delivery of its strategy.
