Financial Controller

Bríd is responsible for financial reporting within the Bernal Institute since its launch in November 2016.  She is a Business graduate from UL. With over 30 years’ experience working in a University environment she has spent the last 22 specifically in the area of research.

She managed the day-to-day operation of the Materials & Surface Science Institute from 2000 and deputised for its three consecutive Director’s in their absence. MSSI was incorporated into the Bernal Institute and currently, along with her financial roles she is project manager for the installation, rollout and management of the PPMS equipment access system and allocates office & desk space within Bernal as a member of the Bernal Space Committee.
