The Journal and UL's School of Journalism partner for this live lunchtime panel and Q+A ahead of the June European Parliament elections.

Join us for lunch and conversation as part of The Journal's series of live events looking at the key issues impacting voters in the European Parliament 2024 elections.

This event looks at community and cohesion in the EU, asking questions such as:

  • To which extent, do we in Ireland understand the European Parliament, the work it does (and does not do)?
  • How we in Ireland see ourselves as part of the European Community and what are the barriers and opportunities to develop cohesion among EU countries and communities?

Our event is moderated by Dr Niamh KirkAssistant Professor in Data Journalism and Social Media and Course Director of the MA in Journalism in UL.
