Aoife Sheehan is an Associate Teacher in Sports Journalism and PR at the University of Limerick and has previously taught in MIC. Aoife's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in New Media and English from UL and a Master's degree in Education from MIC, where she specialised in Adult and Further Education. 

Over the last two decades, Aoife has worked in various roles in Sport, Marketing, PR & Comms for a range of organizations, including RTE, Loosehorse TV, Ballywire Media, Focus Ireland, and others. 

Aoife is also an analyst and co-commentator on RTE radio and television, where she covers hurling and camogie, and has previously written pieces for The Sunday Independent on camogie.  

Research interests include; Women in Sport, Media Representation.
