Thinking of studying at UL? The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) at the University of Limerick runs a series of events, visits and competitions for secondary school students. These events are designed to give prospective students a taste of the UL experience.

LM002 Bachelor of Arts Taster (31st March 2021, Virtual Event)
We are delighted to offer 6th year/mature/QQI students the opportunity to sit in on virtual classes available on LM002 Bachelor of Arts giving them a chance to sample various subject areaas and get an idea of what might interest them.

AHSS TY Taster Day (21st April 2021, Virtual Event)
A chance for transition year students to sample virtual lectures from the degree programmes within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
Students will have the opportunity to sit in on virtual lectures and interact with two live Q&A sessions on the day. Students can attend either in the morning of afternoon. The event is largely self-guided but we recommend setting aside at least 1 hour to sample the content. Guidance counsellors/TY Co-ordinators/Individual Students can pre-register here

UL Journalism Taster
This event is now over however we would be happy to forward a link to the recording. This would be of use to any 6th Year/Mature/QQI students interested in LM039 BA Journalism & Digital Communication. During this event you will hear from lecturers & students, learn about subject areas, career opportunities and facilities for UL’s journalism students.
