Sibéal Annual Conference

Sibéal Annual Conference

The Sibéal Annual Conference will take place in University of Limerick 20-21st November 2015.

Keynote Speakers:
Dr Tina O'Toole, University of Limerick
Dr Niamh Reilly, NUI Galway

Sibéal is Ireland's only interdisciplinary network for postgraduate and early career researchers working in the areas of feminist and gender studies. This year's two-day conference will showcase the research of over 50 postgraduate and early career researchers from universities across Ireland and from as far as India. The conference theme, (In)Visible Lines, aims to explore the blurring of gendered lines, their visibility or invisibility within feminist criticism and gender studies. It hopes to inspire postgraduate and early career researchers from all disciplines engaging with gender and feminism. The theme is intentionally broad, so as to give presenters the opportunity to showcase their creative and innovative approaches.

All welcome.
