Public lecture: 'Yeats and the occult: the unchristened heart'

The Royal Irish Academy’s Study of Languages, Literature, Culture and Communication Committee is organising a free public lecture in association with the University of Limerick, on 28 October 2015. Admission is free but booking is essential as places are limited.

 

 

In this year, the 150th anniversary of W.B. Yeats’ birth, Professor Margaret Mills Harper will give a lecture on the subject of Yeats and the Occult, organised by the Academy’s Committee for the Study of Languages, Literature, Culture and Communication, in association with the University of Limerick.

 

Professor Harper is the Director of the Yeats Summer School, the President of the International Yeats Society, the author or editor of a number of works on Yeats and the Occult. Margaret Harper is the Glucksman Professor in Contemporary Writing in English at the University of Limerick.
