Citizenship and the Political Integration of Muslims in France
 
Manlio Cinalli is FNSP Research Professor at CEVIPOF (CNRS - UMR 7048), Sciences Po Paris. He has delivered research and teaching in various leading universities and institutes across Europe and the United States, including Columbia University, the University of Oxford, the University of Geneva, and the École Française de Rome. Drawing upon a comparative relational approach and multi-methods research, he has published widely on citizenship, political integration, migration, as well as cultural and socio-economic cleavages. He has delivered scholarly works under a number of large comparative projects such as UNEMPOL (EU FP5), ASYPOL (UK ESRC), DELIBNET (British Academia), LOCALMULTIDEM (EU FP6), YOUNEX (EU FP7) and EURISLAM (EU FP7). He is currently directing the French projects for LIVEWHAT (EU FP7) and PATHWAYS (ORA ANR) as well as the Network for Citizenships Studies (together with Marco Giugni, University of Geneva). His book Citizenship and the Political Integration of Muslims in France is forthcoming for Palgrave (Politics of Identity and Citizenship Series).
