Launch of ULRnaG series presented and performed by SCC and IWA students
Launch date: 9th February 2016 at 2pm.
Venue: East Room, Plassey House

A new ULRnaG radio series, performed and presented by students of Scoil an Chultúir agus na Cumarsáide and the Irish World Academy, will air Fridays at 2.00pm from Feb 14th onwards with a rebroadcast
on Sundays at 8.00pm. ‘Ar Bhruach na Sionainne’ features interviews with staff and students, along with performances and chat from a wide section of the campus community and showcases the vibrant musical life of the university.
Máire Ní Ghráda is the coordinator and developer of applied Irish modules for Irish World Academy students. Máire explains that ‘RnaG see this student-led radio series as being a perfect fit with their strategic vision for the station and, of course, our UL students stand to benefit greatly too. This kind of collaborative engagement with leading professional partners is the kind of project at which the University of Limerick excels.’

Ar Bhruach na Sionainne will be be officially launched by President Don Barry on Tuesday, Week 3, Feb 9 at 14.00 in the East Room, Plassey House.
