Buaine Na Gaoithe

Buaine Na Gaoithe, a new poetry song cycle, by UL writer in residence Martin Dyar and composer Ryan Molloy, will have a national tour in October.
 
A suite for soprano, flute and harp based on a specially commissioned sequence of poems which explore themes of wildlife, language, love, and the nature of musical performance itself, the work will be performed by the American soprano Liz Pearse, harpist Lindsay Buffington, and flautist Chelsea Czuchra at the Irish World Academy in UL on Oct 10th at 6pm, in Lecture Theatre 2.
 
This is a free event and all are welcome, but those attending are advised to arrive by 5.45
