15th Limerick Conference in Irish-German Studies

The 15th Limerick Conference in Irish-German Studies (jointly organised by Dr Deirdre Byrnes, NUI Galway, and by Dr Jean Conacher and Dr Gisela Holfter, both School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics, UL) will be taking place at UL on 7-8 November 2014. 

The conference marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall  and combines papers on GDR Studies and Irish-GDR connections. We are particularly grateful for the support provided by the Germany Embassy in Ireland, the DAAD, Limerick City of Culture, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Teaching Board and the School of Modern Languages & Applied Linguistics.
