Migration and Ireland - From past to present

A day of talks entitled Migration and Ireland - From past to present will take place at the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life on Saturday the 20th February 2016.

This event will explore the history of migration in and out of Ireland in the last few centuries. We are delighted to have the following speakers on the day: Prof Bernadette Whelan, Dr. Gerard Moran, Dr. Johanne Devlin Trew and Dr. Piaras Mac Éinrí. 

This event coincides with the temporary exhibition Migrant Women: Shared Experiences which runs until the end of June 2016. You can find out more about this exhibition at museum.ie
