Dr Graeme Murdock (Trinity College Dublin)

'Heretics and neighbours:the religious life of an early modern village‘

Dr Graeme Murdock is Lecturer in European History at Trinity College Dublin. His main fields of research are the cultural history of religion, the history of the European Reformation, religious tolerance and intolerance, the history of gender, and the history of France, Hungary, and Transylvania.  He is the author of numerous publications including, for example,
Calvinism on the Frontier: International Calvinism and the Reformed church of Hungary and Transylvania, c.1600-1660 (Oxford: Clarendon 2000) and Beyond Calvin: The intellectual, political and cultural world of Europe’s Reformed churches, c.1540-1620 (Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan, 2004).
